What is GetBoard?
Oh gosh. That's a doozy!
GetBoard is ultimately a board game service. We offer rental subscription boxes, CLUBS for your favourite franchises and direct sales. But we are more than just a shop.
GetBoard's bread and butter is making it easier to get your games to the table. That might mean storage upgrades to your board game box, a recommendation for a new gamer who doesn't know where to start, or pre-shuffled components in our subscription boxes. We have even provided a curated collection of board games to a Not-for-Profit to deliver better outcomes for young people with mental ill health!
Our GetBoard subscription boxes are the lifeblood of our business.
We love sharing our collection with the Melbourne board gaming community and making it easier to get more games to the table.
Our boxes come in two varieties. The Mystery Casual and the Choose Your Game option.
Choose whichever box suits your lifestyle best and we will send you a box with everything you need to get playing. You can keep your GetBoard box for one or two months and then we'll come and pick it up again and exchange it for a fresh new box.
The best bit? If you loved your games you can keep 'em - preloved or brand new it's up to you!
And the OWN IT subscription?
The OWN IT sub is a more traditional subscription. Sign up for whatever frequency works best for you and choose from 1 one of three options and OWN IT BAYBEE! (Coming Soon - Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date!)
What is a CLUB?
Love games like Marvel Champions and the Arkham Horror LCG? Then CLUBS is for you!
CLUBS takes the hassle out of preordering and means you don't risk missing out on the hottest new releases. Just sign up for the CLUB that interests you, and we'll automatically order new drops on your behalf. We'll then charge your assigned card a week before the delivery date.
If your not interested in a particular product - just opt out. There's no obligation to buy.
